Few years past with me knowing exactly who I was. I kept believing that she was my real mother. During this point of the year it was towards the end of the summer holidays. I had finished at primary school and mum had enrolled me at a private high school just down the road. I had planned to study PE so I could either go to university and become a teacher or to become a professional soccer player. I remember the first class I had at high school was a lesson that had put the thought of adoption back on my head. I had been asked for a copy of my birth certificate to try out for the soccer team at school which would start training in a few weeks. At this point of time, I thought this was perfect time to discover who I was. I rushed home to ask my mum for my birth certificate so I could become professional soccer player. It was also her dream that I became a soccer player. She would reply that she didn’t know where it was. She had said that dad had it in hand last and it wasn’t in her hand since. The next day my mum went work. I thought to myself that I could perhaps search the entire house as if I was I was involved in a crime scene searching for items that could lead to a discovery. I went in my mum’s room and in her closet, I saw an unlocked metal box. I opened it and inside were lots of papers, legal papers. With those I saw a set of onion skinned pages. I quickly went through and found a female name, id soon thought to be my birth mother. Under her name was a photo of me as a child. I had another name, another identity. How should I end.
