After about two months of having Rascal he was getting a little muscular and a ornery. So, to try to prevent his mood swings, we decided to have him fixed. However when we took him to the vet, she refused to do it.7 But he needed to be fixed so my dad decided to do it. That baby screamed so loud and all my sisters ran out side screaming and crying, covering their ears because Rascal was screaming so loud. But it was all done in less then a minute. I took him away from my parents as soon as it was over, Rascal was shaken and he welcomed my comfort. After that he hated my dad.

After another month of him getting into trouble my parents decided to get rid of him. We could not keep him. We pleaded with them, but they would not let us. They put him on KSL.com and within days he was wanted. People called and said they would be there soon. It wasn’t until we when to bed that the showed up. That morning I remember waking up and asking my mom “did they come and get Rascal last night” She told me that they had. I felt sad that the little raccoon was gone but happy, because the people that had taken him promised to send us pictures. It was still a loss, but not completely. I still wish to this day we had not gotten rid of him, but not all things can last for ever.
