Once I start a project I like to see it all the way through almost as if it’s my baby and I have to cradle it to make sure it is perfect in my perspective. My culture plays a huge part as to greeting people informally. We love to hug and give kisses on the cheek, we believe that if out we are welcoming you, you are now part of our family whether it be a work family or a home family. My fiancé calls me his little Pitbull due to the fact that once I am focused on something I will achieve it by any means necessary, meaning I am very competitive and aggressive about winning. This also translates into my work ethic as well. While I am aggressive and I do like to win by any means necessary I do have values and I will not go against my values to win. I will leave a job if their values didn’t for the most part match mine. Not just as an American but a human being I think I need to be more generous, there are so many people that could use a helping hand and could use just a little help to maybe brighten their day or push them to achieve their goals. There is a saying “the only time you look down on a person is when you are holding your hand out to help them up,” this has stuck with me and in writing this paper, I will revisit what it means to me.
