Analysis

The Christian belief offers, that in a world full of evil, there is hope. Hope for an eternal life with Jesus. Through the saving grace of Jesus, we are guaranteed eternal life with the Father through repentance and acceptance of Him. Living this life is not easy, by no means, but seeking His guidance and knowing He is looking out for us does make it a little easier. It does not mean He will always give us what we want, but it does mean He will always supply our needs.

The most troublesome part of Christianity is being the “perfect Christian”. There is no perfect Christian. Christians will fall short in their lives every day, even with all the good intentions. Even though we fail, we are still forgiven. It doesn’t matter the sin. No sin is greater than another in the eyes of God. Christians have to love one another as Christ loves us. No Christian is better than another. We are all sinners. “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” (Romans 3:23).

Jesus is the way to eternal life. Christians live their life in pursuit of Jesus. Their every thought is to please Him. The mind of a Christian is not of money, mansions, fancy car, designer clothes, or the best of everything. It is God meeting every need. Just being happy about what God is doing in their life and where God is taking them. God’s love makes you want to know more about Him, makes you fall more and more in love with Him.

Reflection

Being a Christian in today’s world is not easy. This world is full of evil. It is not an act that is fulfilled just on Sundays. It is a transformation lived out every day. I want Christ to show through me. I work in an inner-city low-income middle school. I am a white teacher in a 95% African-American school. I wouldn’t be anywhere else. I treat these kids like I treat my own sons. I love these kids with all my heart. Most teacher will not even come to this school to teach. It is in a very bad part of town. I want to make a difference in these kids’ lives. I want them to know they can achieve the impossible. There is nothing impossible with God. (Matthew 19:26). These Kids call me Momma. I know god put me here to make a difference. Tobe a good Christian is to recognize your calling and answer it. I’m doing that with my kids.

Conclusion

The Christian Worldview embraces that there is on God. He created the Heavens and the earth and all that exists. Then out of love, He created man to exist with Him in His creation. Humanity was crated with purpose and a free will to choose right from wrong. We were created in His image. Sin was introduced at the disobedience of Adam and Eve in the Garden and humanity is separated from God There would now be pain and suffering throughout the world. But God loved us so much He sent His Son to live on earth among sin and pay the ultimate sacrifice for our sins. Jesus was beat and hung on Calvary’s Cross for the atonement of all sin. Humanity is guaranteed eternal life through Jesus Christ death.
