Restoration

The salvation of Jesus Christ is the solution to all of humanities problems. Having the belief of faith and grace is part of the salvation that we need. People who believe in this need to place their faith in Jesus and believe 100% in him. When wanting to get into heaven everyone needs to realize that you are a sinner and you need to repent and ask for forgiveness. Not only by repenting you are also admitting that you need a savior in your life. By doing this you will be able to get into heaven. No matter how well you live by God or no matter how much you pray this is not a guarantee way to get into heaven. God grants salvation through his grace alone and not on the basis of anything the person has done. (Lecture 5 2015)

Christian’s, believe that they have transformed themselves they are better people to society and that they are able to go door to door and outreach to others about how God changed them. With not only being saved as an individual but that they have also grown in their own spirituality.

Analysis

The center of the gospel is Christianity not, only that Christianity is also the main book on how to live life, “a person’s opinion on morality, politics, culture, and societal values.” (Salem Press Encyclopedia 2016) are all part of Christian Worldview. Having a Christian Worldview is having hope, with having hope it is the main strength of Christianity. With hope, it gives many people meaning in different ways and in different situations. By having hope in our lives, it gives us a way to change our way of thinking and actions to live a better life. Although, having hope there is still a lot of argument that religion can be better in society. By being better in society many believe that society needs to have common ground while giving aid. The article “Christian Worldview” says “Most Christians believe strongly in spreading the messages of their faith to others in the effort to grown the strength, effectiveness, and reach of their values.” (Salem Press Encyclopedia 2016).

It is very difficult to analyze the results of living a Christian life. "The normative statements of Christian faith and life, for instance, are so very elevated, while the people who are Christians are so very ordinary. There is typically a glaring gap between what people profess to believe and what they actually do and appear to be in their everyday lives" (How Christianity Coopts Its Contradictions, 2000). We sin on a daily basis, even with all of God’s love and forgiveness there are still many gaps on how Christians should live and what they are able to do. With this being said, some Christians are too hard on themselves and they set themselves up for failure. By setting goals to high in the Christian faith and then when they cannot finish a goal that they have set they become discouraged and start to turn away from God, this is one way Christians deal with the gap. Another, way some Christian deal with the gap is that they become very insecure. With becoming insecure with God, they began to sin and not just do-little sins but do big sins. By doing this people know God will still love and forgive them and love them no matter what.

Reflection

I am a Christian believer I believe in the father, son, and the holy spirit. With being a Christian believer it is not always easy to follow Gods word. Even though I believe I do not go to church every Sunday or Wednesday like some of the others in my family, with not going to church on these days it does not mean that I think God only gives his blessing to those who are in church every Sunday or Wednesday. God gives his blessing rather you are in church or not, but by going to church I feel it brings more peace into your life and helps you stay better connected to God. Also, you can worship God in your own home or anywhere else and still be a Christian. With doing this you can still receive the same blessing as if you went to church every day. I consider myself to be a good Christian and follow Gods words as best I can. I try and live my life to the way God has planned out for me. Even though I know I sin I try the best I can to stay away from sinning and follow Gods 10 commandments, even though it is sometimes hard to do. On the days, I know that I have sinned I repent to God and ask for him to forgive me and ask him to watch over my close family and friends.

Conclusion

In the end, Christian Worldview has been around for a very long time and takes up a lot of our religion belief. Is there a God? Yes, there is and he has three parts he is the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. God is also almighty, loving, forgiving, and all knowing. God made us out of his own image which made us perfect to him. As humans, we learn so much and we want to have knowledge. Just like Adam and Eve who did not listen to God and ate free the tree of knowledge. After, that had happened we now know what death, sin, suffering, and pain is like. That is why Jesus came to this earth and died for us. After the death of Jesus people of earth are guarantee salvation in their lives by following the word of God and excepting Jesus Christ in their lives and as their savior.
