the public face of Christianity removes the honesty from the relationship between the believer and God economical grace will nullify the contract a believer makes with God when they ask for salvation.

Reflection

Living out one’s Christian worldview is not always easy but is necessary because of the importance Christianity places on truth. Opportunities to live out the Christian worldview do not just happen on Sunday or in church settings. I find the places I have the most opportunity to demonstrate Christian values are in secular settings. I work as a behavioral therapist at a non-profit company that serves children with special needs. All our students have been diagnosed with an autism spectrum disorder or some other emotional or learning disorder. I work in our very hectic early intervention unit. Some of the students in my unit are as young as two. Our students don’t always understand their therapy and become upset easily. Lots of people I meet tell me my job is difficult. I tell them that I don’t have a problem with my job because it the calling God has chosen for me. This often opens conversations about God’s purpose for all of us as individuals. I find people are often very curious and want to know more about how I came to know God and his plan for me. As a good Christian, I make a conscious effort to turn away from sin and keep God’s commandments. This can sometimes be difficult. I find it helpful to keep a journal of my actions each day. I keep this journal with my bible and write my ’actions chart’ with my daily devotion after my reading. I make two columns. In one I write what I did well that day and in the other column I write sins I committed that day. I find this is a very effective tool for helping me see what areas I need to pray about and in what areas the Holy Spirit has helped me.

Conclusion

The Christian worldview embraces individuality and operates primarily on the assumption that there is a God. Further assumptions reflect that he is all knowing and gracious. God an entity of three, meaning the Trinity, it includes the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. God, the creator of our universe the well being of the humans he would create specifically in mind. Humanity is God’s greatest accomplishment. We were created perfect by God with love and in his image. We were entrusted to care for God’s creation and to exercise free will. Our first ancestors abused that and did not use their free will wisely. When they ate from the Tree of the Knowledge, they caused humanity’s fall from grace. The temptation to sin was so pervasive that it has both become a part of human nature and the core reasons for all of Mans problems. This inability to refrain from temptation is what separates humans from God in this life and the next so, God sent his only begotten son Jesus Christ to earth to sacrifice his life in order to atone for our sins. He lived on earth teaching and making disciples until the time came for him to die for our sins. His sacrifice opened heaven so that people souls can ascend there after death. People are now able to reserve their own salvation, improve their lives, selves, families and society by living a Christian life and embracing Jesus Christ.
