I. Premarital sex, while being accepted in our modern times, still has consequences.

II. All unmarried couples, regardless of age, should carefully consider the possible outcome of indulging in an activity intended to be enjoyed within the sanctity of marriage.

III. Remember what happened to my friend? This could happen to you or one of your loved ones, like your children.

Justification

I organized my outline as it is critical to have a well thought-out and organized speech in order for the audience to comprehend what is being said. The audience will lose interest in the speaker if they cannot grasp the idea’s that are being spoken. As stated in our book, “using a clear, specific method of speech organization can boost your confidence as a speaker and improve your ability to deliver a message fluently” (Lucas 166). I have made sure to specify my specific purpose, the central idea and the main points within my outline in a topical order as my speech has three separate subtopics which are main points of my speech. I included a socking story in my introduction to hook the audience in hopes to gain their attention. In my conclusion, I retouch on the story to re-emphasize the importance of my idea’s that were discussed.
