Self-reflection on Team Oral Presentation

After completing this assignment, I have learned the elements of a team which contains two or more people, free interaction among people, common identity, and common purpose. When discussing the topic among the team members, conflict occurred and the relationship among us became strained. However, it is common that diversity exists in groups and teams. Therefore, conflict management should be implemented in order to ensure the team function well. What’s more, I have learned that when delivering the oral presentation, more attention should be paid to the way how I say rather than what I say. Using images or visuals is helpful for drawing the audience’s attentions. Furthermore, I have learned some skills that can be used to present a good oral presentation by involving the audiences with questions, offering instant feedback and improving voice. Last but not the least, I have learned the definition of crisis which is that the heavily impact events that can pose threats to the survival of the organizations. In the future, I can do more reading through which I can improve my understanding of different values and beliefs and acquire the methods that can be used to manage conflicts. And then I can develop the ability to effectively and efficiently manage conflicts inside a team or organization. What’s more, whenever I present an oral presentation, I will lay more emphasis on the way I behave rather than put too much emphasis on the contents of my presentation. In addition, I can use visuals to demonstrate the message that I want to share with my partners or audiences more often.
