Now Chomina’s first change towards Laforgue was when a newborn had just died. As normal Christians they would bless the child. Chomina actually let him bless the children, while the rest of the tribe was telling him that it was an evil ritual and that the spirit of the newborn will never receive peace. Another clear example is when Chomina and the tribe leaves Laforgue stranded in a territory and actually goes after him to either save him or apologies to him. But unfortunately only Daniel, Laforgue, Chomina, Annuka and a small boy remained alive and captured. Lastly, Chomina had received a wound when fighting and was near his death.
