My final point is that smartphones can actually be a good thing. They help by feeding us knowledge and foster important conversations. One reason I agree with this point is that smartphones help keep us updated to the world news. We can easily look the news up or get an app. Another supporting statement would be smartphones can let you get to know and have a conversation with anyone around the world. The communication between countries is endless when smartphones are involved. Smartphones give us access to the internet to find any type of information or facts. I use my phone for information all the time, for instance, say I wanted to know what movies were out I could easily go on the web and figure out in less than 2 minutes. Smartphones definitely come in handy when needing to know something fast.

I will leave you with my three points one last time.

- The growing popularity and dependency of smartphones is increasing more and more every day and I feel this will continue to grow.

-Smartphones and our dependency on them can kill our focus and make it harder to learn.

-Smartphones can help by feeding us knowledge and foster important conversations.

With everything I have stated in my speech today, I hope I left you thinking about the impact of smartphones on the world. Do they help or hinder us? Do you think smartphones are making us smarter or are we just dumb people with smartphones? What side are you on?
