that suited their needs. Along with the people who use to live there. They migrated to Egypt since that was the only place that had water and was suitable for them to live there. Because of this temperature change, the Tuareg changed from being nomadic people to settlers that learned how to do agriculture. Due to the environment, the land changed and the inhabitants changed.

Now since the Tuaregs live in Africa where the desert is, they don’t have that much contact with the modern world. In the movie, there are merchants who own trucks to help them transport their goods. But the Tuareg people do not like change. They stick to what they know and only that. Because of this rejection to change, they still use camels instead of trucks. They don’t have modern technology either. In a way there are still living in the old days and they love it but it does have consequences too.

When I was young I went to school and played with my friends. My parents expectations were far different than Adam’s parents. Adam is expected to become a man at a young age and grow up fast so he can take over his father’s place when it comes time to. He doesn’t have as much time like all the other kids to spend his life with no responsibilities and just to have fun. I feel bad for Adam to be honest and I wish he got more time to know what it feels like to be a kid but he wanted to become a man because he chose himself to go on the caravan at a young age.

The Tuaregs have been impacted by many things. Like culture, environment change, and technological change. Adam finished his journey and passed the harsh test and will become a great man. If it weren’t for these changes Adam and his people wouldn’t be the way they are now. So sometimes change is a good thing.
