The Origins of Humans - Homo Sapiens

After civilizations appeared, people in power created myths generally to control people. The reason the people in ancient civilizations made myths or gods were because they didn't understand some things. They found it easier to just create a fictional story with gods, goddesses, and monsters that had powers to do unrealistic things. For example, if a village had a bad harvest, the king would want someone to blame on but not himself. The best solution? Create a myth or story such as God is angry. Overtime, these myths and stories contradicted more and more with science, eventually leading to the great battle between religion and science. The Holy Bible explains the origins of man with Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. It is said that the whole world was created in seven days. God created day and night on the first day; sky on the second day; land, seas, and plants on the third day; sun, moon, and stars on the fourth day; birds and fish on the fifth day; eventually animals, Adam and Eve on the sixth day. On the seventh day, he blessed his creation. The Bible contradicts entirely with theories created by scientists. In ancient times, people just followed the Church as they didn't have another credible source. Nevertheless, overtime, pioneers like Darwin and Galileo began to make more sense. Although the Church tried desperately to ruin the image of those scientists, more people turned themselves to science. In result, there were many more atheists currently than just a few hundred years ago.

Most studies show that we all do indeed come from Africa, in spite of our different appearances. It seems so much more senseless, despite what we know about our origins, that the past few hundred years of conflict and violence were purely based on the physical and cultural divide. We are all just part of a young species that only goes back 200,000 years ago, we are all just Africans deep inside.
