[1]Eighty one percent of the employers in United States provide employees access to physical fitness programs/ promotions. And eventually a well-structured fitness centre will be an important criteria for an employee to make his career decisions, and with our current fitness facility we are already ahead of our competitors.

We have enough evidence both statistically and scientifically that a healthier workforce will result in lesser absenteeism and better productivity. And to achieve maximum benefit we need a better response from our employees than what we are receiving right now. I request you to institute a Wellness fitness program across all the departments similar to what we had in our department to motivate our employees to start using fitness centre, and all the direct and indirect benefits of fitness centre are documented to measure the output of the effort. The sick days and the absenteeism rate can be compared with the earlier results and though that we will get to know the change in the productivity. And with all the past details with me, I am more than sure that the wellness program will be a hit among the employees and will easily recover it annual expenses. With your permission on the Welfare program, I will work with my team and I will take the responsibility of instituting the Welfare programme by this month end. And we will have the comparison result data by this time next year to decide on the future of the fitness centre.

You have known for being a smart, creative and a fair person and by considering all the advantages of fitness centre I strongly recommended to test the Wellness program for a year before forwarding the closure proposal of fitness centre.
