The following are the business process changes that would need to be made to support the Ebook for the Toms River School District.

- EBook Management Software: The EBook Management Software allows for access to the cloud services from Follet. This includes mobile applications and desktop softwares which can be run on the current schools network configurations without upgrading the systems.

- Purchase Amazon Kindle e-reader: The purchase of an e-reader for every enrolled student across 18 schools in the district. This hardware isn’t required but would enhance the in and out of classroom experiences for the students. Allowing them access of the information anywhere they go. This is very important for families that may not have a computer or internet access in the home. This is the only hardware that would need to be purchased in order to implement the proposed solution.

- Provide Training/Information: Training and information will need to be provided to the staff, students and parents. With new approaches it’s important to provide instructions to the users and in this case the parents. An in classroom training session can be added to the back to school events for the students and parents, as well as an online tutorial for those unable to make this training. As well as provide in service training to the teachers and technology staff through teachers training days. The online tutorial and helpful links, information and easy access to applications can be added to the districts website.
