When comparing the previous solutions with the new suggested solutions, one will notice how the suggested solution is more effective. As it is a long lasting solution that would help people in the future as well to benefit others. Moreover, using the government in order to enforce rules, using electronic cigarettes and seeking advertising, public figure speeches and attending support groups. When comparing raising awareness with using the government to enforce new rules to decrease the percentage of tobacco cigarettes consumers, if knowledge was present regarding tobacco inhalation; there would be no need to enforce rules on citizens. As well as when comparing the usage of electronic cigarettes with raising awareness. People would have known the effects caused by e-cigarettes instead of using it with the intention of quitting tobacco inhalation. While using advertisements to increase the level of awareness can help people easily as they can be seen in most places like the flyers, television campaigns and street billboards. In the end, one can conclude that raising awareness is the most effective solution for tobacco addicts and to decrease the percentage of tobacco addiction.
Tobacco addiction could be minimized using various solutions such as seeking the governments help with enforcing new modified rules by many ways like increasing taxes on tobacco companies and replacing the conventional cigarette with the electronic cigarette. However, these previously stated solutions are effective but with raising awareness among citizens will completely gradually end the usage of tobacco as it does not include forcing people to do something they are not convinced with and to inform people with the effects of tobacco. Moreover, as Alcohol Research & Health (2006), stated that the first step is to acknowledge the need for change. Now is the time for one to take a step forward towards ending tobacco addiction using treatment programs.
