Enough about the solution and what I’d do, what about the ones that actually have the power to stop obesity? The Government?

What exactly is the Government doing about this global issue? Considering the smoking issue, all I recall is that they demanded it be informed that “smoking kills”. Did that help? Arguably yes and no. Most smokers today couldn’t care less about what’s written on the pack or a commercial on the television / internet. Of course it would be wrong for me or anyone else to say obesity is purely down to the obese person. I know many occasions where the person has been born fat and grown up as a relatively obese person. A lot of obesity is down to the parents’ way of educating their children. That is why it’s normal that an obese parent also has obese children. Currently the Government has little to no impact on obesity and it does not look like it is going to change anytime soon. The only ones taking this matter seriously are obesity dedicated groups and schools that are too lazy to find any other subject to make their students write about, since 2007.

Personally I think that most of these obese people are just way too lazy and that it’s their own fault for being fat. They only have two options: stay fat and get fatter, or loose that extra unnecessary weight. I know it’s possible my father used to be fat, then he decided to do something about it and lost five and a quarter stone and now he’s not obese. All I’m saying is it’s possible if you want it to be.
