The main objective of doing this corporate social responsibility is to safe our planet. We can enhance and protect biodiversity and ecosystems. Other than that, by applying green building, we can improve air and water quality. Green building also can reduce water stream, conserve and restore natural resources.

In term of economic benefit, green building can reduce operating costs and can improve occupant productivity not to mention it will make our employee healthier. Besides, we also can optimise life-cycle of economics performance. By having green building, we also can improve indoor air quality. There is not lots of people that have been applying green technology in their business. In the event that we are doing this green technology, we can also attract potential investor to invest in our company and apply the green technology. If everyone using green technology, we can save our planet.

This corporate social responsibility is an altruistic corporate social responsibility. Altruistic corporate social responsibility is philanthropic approach to corporate social responsibility in which organization underwrites specific initiatives to give back to the company’s local community or to designated national or international design. By doing this corporate social responsibility program, we can support Dasar Teknologi Hijau by Malaysian’s Government. Besides, this corporate social responsibilities program can help us to save our planet. We can take care of our environment properly.

We also can get an inspiration on doing green technology by looking at green building and technology in Taiwan. With 101 floors TAIPEI 101 is consider as the world tallest green building. TAIPEI 101 invested in significant energy efficiency retrofit projects to generate energy and water savings. A review of public lighting was undertaken and resulted in the conversion to more energy efficient luminaires and lighting controls. By utilizing Energy Management and Control Systems (EMCS), building managers are able to adjust operating temperatures, modify chiller plant operating schedules and modify chilled water distribution according to actual tenant needs. With these it helped to rank TAIPEI 101 in the top 30% of high-rise office buildings as benchmarked by the U.S. ENERGY STAR database, to reduce energy consumption by 33.41 million kWh per year and to save more than US$2 million per year.
