Lastly, I have learned many things about myself during this journey such as following instructions and admitting that I am not always right. For example, look at what happened to me and ask yourself: do you really want the same thing to happen to you? Then I discovered that one of the best qualities one could have is the capacity to organize in advance, certainly before a trip of this sort. Having the knowledge to predict what can happen in chilly weather is another quality to add to a successful trip. I have also learned that it is good to scrutinize the area and to be on the lookout of all the surroundings. I have also picked up on quick thinking since in some situations, such as when I had to restore feeling in my body, we must act fast. I also comprehended that staying calm is much better than being anxious, which ultimately leads you to nowhere. Panic would have caused me great aggravation as I would not have been able to find my way to the camp nor would I be standing here talking to you at this moment. During my journey I became aware of determination because without it, this trip would not have been endurable. Finally I gained knowledge in becoming courageous and living through the pain, even if that meant getting burnt.
To conclude, I hope you will consider my travels and this one in particular as lessons to take very seriously. I hope that I have inspired you and that you will take on this exciting adventure yourself! Thank you so much for listening to me today, have a great day.
