has always fascinated me with their use of the oldest form of animation that is still being widely used to create amazing stories, stop motion animation. I’d love to work for them just once to get to see what it’s really like to work on a project that doesn’t have to do with computers but more with the craft and detail.

Transition: I’d like to move on from my passion for animation to my most favorite pastime and the thing I enjoy most: Lolita fashion. 

Lolita fashion is a subculture of Japanese street fashion, which is heavily inspired by the French Rococo style and other eras during the 1950’s. Basically, it’s just girls in puffy dresses like this one.

For me, I didn’t just start off being into Lolita. It took some time learning and understanding the rules and being comfortable to try it.

My junior year in high school was when I decided to go back to my goth style; the hipster style was just too boring for me. After going back to goth, I found that I wasn’t too fond of wearing nothing but black, so I wanted to try something a bit more unique that no one else could copy.

After touring to the internet, I found all kinds of unique fashions. such as pastel goth grunge and many more but none were more interesting than Lolita  

My role model of the Lolita style, who originally got me hooked, was a girl named Pastel Bat. If it wasn’t for her, I would have never known about the vast community.

The first time I saw Pastel Bat, I was in love with her beauty and crazy style that I never thought could exist, but the one thing I really liked about her was that she was every helpful when I asked her questions.

Her original style was Lolita, but after years of fashion school, she changed more into pastel, baby doll style. However, my absolute favorite style had to be her creepy/cute one, mixing Halloween themed clothes with sweet, pastel colors and accessories.
