Falling action

A year goes by and Addison is seen at a bookstore reading her book to an audience that sounds remarkably similar to the situation that unfolded between her and Danya, however she adds in her book that the couple ended up adopting a baby. Doctor Gerard shows up to her book signing and starts prying into Addison’s relationships with Danya and Victoria. The conversation was initially awkward but eventually ended up with Gerard flattering Addison. Six months later, Addison reads a breakup letter that she wrote which she will eventually give to Danya because she started the transition, but Addison couldn’t handle it.

Denouement

Four years later, Danya, who is now identified as Daniel, appears as a fully transitioned man. One year after that, Daniel is meeting with his mother for the first time in four years and the two make up and overcome their difference. After Daniel’s mother left, Doctor Gerard’s voice is heard as she Addison enter the park with their adopted child. Addison takes her child to a see saw because she did not notice Daniel, meanwhile Gerard and Daniel have a conversation about their lives. It is made known that Doctor Gerard and Addison started dating shortly after Daniel finished his surgery. Lastly Addison comes into contact with Daniel but still does not recognize him as her former lover. Daniel tells Addison about how much he enjoyed the book but once he leaves, Addison finally figured out who he was. She tried to find him, but it was too late. She finds her book that he left on the park bench but Daniel came back and she gave the book back to him.
