This book by John Green is about these two teenagers that have been battling cancer. In this case cancer is the antagonist and the protagonist is Hazel and Augustus. This main conflict between the two is that the cancer is slowing killing the both of them. They are both in love and it is very hard to be with someone when the both of them are dying. Sadly the conflict was never resolved, the cancer ended up killing Augustus at the end of story. This affected his loved ones so much and that is because of the antagonist.

Task #3

One major character in the book The Fault of Our Stars is Hazel. She has been battling lung cancer since she was 13 years old. Hazel is usually a shy girl until she met Augustus. Augustus brought out her playful side and she became a more social person. Hazel wants to accomplish her goal of being able to meet her favorite writer. She accomplished that by using her wish that is granted to her when she found out that she got cancer. When she went to Amsterdam to accomplish her goal her favorite writer was not how she thought he would be.

Task #4

I recommend this book because it is well written and it makes you want to read the book more. It has a really good plot and the story is interesting. The book is about two teenagers that both have cancer, they fall in love and sadly one of them dies at the end of the story. The way the author chose the names and described the characters is so unique. A girl that has lung cancer, a guy that has eye cancer and then another guy that has a very rare cancer that is in his leg and eventually

moves through his whole body. In the story the author keeps the reader wondering what is going to happen next. John Green is a very strong author and all of this book are good and interesting.
