Objective

In this practice we will identify if the liquid we have can be an electrolyte, and we will know that if it has an electric charge.

Introduction

Electrolytes are minerals in your blood and other body fluids that carry an electric charge.

Electrolytes affect the amount of water in your body, the acidity of your blood (pH), your muscle function, and other important processes. You lose electrolytes when you sweat. You must replace them by drinking fluids that contain electrolytes. Water does not contain electrolytes.

Common electrolytes include:

* Calcium

* Chloride

* Magnesium

* Phosphorous

* Potassium

* Sodium

Electrolytes can be acids, bases, and salts.

Procedure

1 - Gets everything

2 - Laboratory personnel did work diluted substances and place everything in their respective vessels.

3 - Then gives the team an electric circuit.

4 - The circuit is complete but two wires are exposed which produces that does not flow the current.

5 - Three members of all the team will be those who will be most of the practice

6 - A member shall be responsible for connecting and disconnecting the electrical circuit of the power

7 - Another will turn on and turn off the switch and finally the third member will be placed which exposed

8 - It is placed to each substance wires exposed inside avoiding these make contact
