- Detail the emergency reporting relationships and how you will communicate information.
Reporting relationships and the communications within these relationships will be less formal and structural within our event. Any communication relating to an incident or emergency must be made very clear and reporting of an incident must follow a short and specific chain of command (Van Der Wagen & White 2010). The chain of command for an emergency is the same as an organizational chart for the event as a whole (Van Der Wagen & White 2010). All our staff will need to be trained on emergency reporting and many stakeholders can be involved which includes "general staff, security staff, first aid personnel, police and emergency services" (Van Der Wagen & White 2010, p. 265) The responsibility will be given to the event organizers to be the key decision makers for emergency reporting within our event. Information will be communicated through the use of radios, which is the most effective tool for maintaining communication through out the event. This method of communication will be the most useful for "A Night for Kez" as all information transmitted can be overheard for anyone who has required a radio.
- Security requirements.
For "A Night for Kez" we will be hiring 3 security guards from North State Security Services located centrally within Bendigo. These security guards will be posted on the door for the night. Their main objective will be letting patrons who have a valid ticket into the event and to make sure that they create and maintain a controlled and safe environment through out the night to ensure that the event is successful.
