Motivation for the study
Talented employees are the biggest asset of any organization. But how to recruit and retain such employees is the ultimate question, which many big companies/organizations are able to handle because they have sufficient resources and techniques to address the issue. But how do medium size companies handle such important aspect of human resource management was our drive to do the project.
Dealing with humans itself is quite dynamic task as needs and preferences change. It is no science. So we need to study how different managers of different organizations tackle every situation differently.
Objectives
• To study how companies of different sectors i.e. IT and Healthcare sector follow different policies to recruit, retain and develop talented employees.
• To analyze the different practices of managers in different organizations under similar situations
• To study how Talent Management gives an organization a competitive edge
Methodology
The study is conducted based on comparison between two different organizations. ……….. has been selected from IT industry and …………. From the Healthcare sector. The required data is collected from the secondary sources as well as from the records collected by the past employees. Also a basis to measure the……… (Anu’s book related) is also taken into consideration to establish the standards of the respective industries.
Expected outcomes
The analysis of data will finally help us understand how Talent Management plays a key role in any organization irrespective of any sectors. Also there is no single correct solution in Human Resource Management, so we will learn how different policies can impact the organizations differently. And can identify and suggest the areas of improvement based on the comparison.
