One of the biggest things people should really care about in starting up a business is its organization. In Gau Uniform, there were 4 co-founders at the first time including 1 marketer and designer, 1 sales man, 1 financer and 1 producer. It was just a simple organization because of the small scale of the company. Then the number of employees was increasing with more designers, sales men,.. At this moment, the number of employees is 20 permanent staff, 20 part-time designers and 40 to 50 salespeople. Those people are divided into many fields which are business, design, financial accounting, marketing, human resources, logistics, workshop/factory and board of directors.

One of the important factors to be a successful company is the leader. Mr An claimed that if people wanted to be a leader of an organization, they needed to know how to do everything related to the company’s business. People just only did nothing when it is a time-consuming activity. If the leader could do anything, he could handle the situations if there was a blank in the organization’s structure. The leader needed to have an influence on the employees, motivated them so that they could do the best of their abilities. The way Mr An motivated his employee was that he always found a way to take care to them, to their benefits, their emotion so that he could fix the problems immediately.

And after all, he did do great in controlling the work, to ensure that the work could be done on time. People could see it through his memories and experiences of the first order when the company did not finish the order on time and he had to ride a motorbike to Xuan Hoa in order to deliver products to his customers.

Starting up a business had many difficulties but Mr An did find his own way to overcome those challenges to achieve his goals as a manager will do.
