Learning Activity 10.10 – Media Response
The title of the article ‘’popularity a perk of children altruism”, I believe, is incorrect. I believe this as the article does not explain nor talk about how the popularity of students influences altruism. The article suggest and proves that when kids are perceived to be more kind for no reward or personal gain, they were more well respected by peers even if this did come with consequences or perks. This has nothing to do with the popularity if the students, only to what they were being perceived as by their peers.

1. What general approach is taken by social learning theory in explaining human aggression?
One of the main ways in which we learn aggression is from watching other people being aggressive and then copying their aggressive behaviour. 2.
Do you believe this approach can be applied to animal behaviour?
I don’t believe this approach can be applied to animal behaviour as us humans cannot mimic and copy animal aggressive behaviour. Unless we find a way to train an animal to do so we cannot. 3.
