Many people have different opinions about abortion; some of them agree with this action and others disagree.

The abortion pill is one of the ways most used to have an abortion. This pill is a medicine that ends a pregnancy. The medical name for the abortion pill is mifepristone. It works by blocking the hormone progesterone. Without progesterone, the lining of the uterus breaks down and the pregnancy cannot continue. After an abortion, it is normal to feel relief, sadness, grief, or guilt. Hormonal changes during pregnancy can make emotions stronger than usual (Healthwise).
