Abortion should or not be a crime in Brazil
==========
What is abortion!? “Abortion is the interruption premature of the pregnancy, spontaneous or caused, with the removal or expulsion of an embryo or fetus.”
In Brazil every two days a woman die by complications related to clandestine abortions, since we know that in the country abortion is a crime and only have exceptions for causes of rape, women´s life risk or when the fetus is anencephalic. But the question is that the abortion problem involve moral, ethical and religious aspects, whose evaluation depends on the singularity of each person.
Brazilian society experiences a great moral crisis and women in general begin irresponsible sex earlier and earlier, leading to the death of many women with low financial status doing clandestine abortions.
According to experts abortion is already legal in Brazil for rich women, who has the money to pay a good and expensive clandestine clinic, who suffer with it are only poor families, who does not have money for a safe abortion or to take care of the child. But also nothing justifies a homicide, since abortion should be considered as such. Without entering into political and religious merit, it really takes a broad and unrestricted discussion about the harm of abortion for women and cruelty towards the unborn. Abortive methods, even in anencephalic fetuses, which theoretically will live only a few hours after birth are very cruel. In the case of anencéphalos, in American aborigines, as in the rest of the world, the fetus weighing more than 1 kg is removed in a caesarean section, then still alive it is thrown in a garbage can where it dies for hours, rarely the fetus is burned. The Brazilian State should be concerned with monitoring and investing in the prenatal care of low-income women, as well as improving the public health system that, in fact, is precarious in the country. If unemployment rates were low in Brazil, life chances were the same for all, education really reached all Brazilians, our women would certainly not be led to the deceit of unwanted pregnancies and the consequent clandestine abortion, which, incidentally, We know it's very dangerous!
So this decision for abortion be or not a crime is really a hard choice, because if the woman decides to do for sure was hard for her and she also needs help at this moments, to carry this decision to life is very difficult. And also in booth parts could involve dies, or the women doing a poor clandestine abortion or the homicide of the fetus, knowing that it is impossible and not correct to decide which life values more..
