Agreeableness measures the degree to which individuals are sympathetic, cooperative, good-natured, and warm versus grumpy, unpleasant, disagreeable, and cold. Personality traits associated with this dimension include likeability, friendly compliance, need for affiliation, and love (Hogan, Curphy, & Hogan, 1994). As for this trait, I have always been an open, sociable person who has had no problem making friends. Also, I've never had a problem helping a teammate in any inconvenient he has had. My parents are this type of person, open people eager to help everyone. As we discussed in class, this fact can also be observed from so young that already seems something innate in one. That is why, if I was not born with this trait, I observe it so many times from so young, that it happened to be something inside me.
Intellectance concerns the extent to which an individual is imaginative, cultured, broad minded, and curious versus concrete minded, practical, and has narrow interests. Personality traits associated with this dimension include culture and openness to experience (Hogan, Curphy, & Hogan, 1994). Finally, regarding intellectance, I have always been a curious person, wanting to know more and learn from others. From my point of view I think it is important to have people to admire and from which to learn and expand your knowledge and visions of the world. As you learn these things, you usually have the ability to keep improving in terms of intellectance and trying to find new people that can teach and inspire you. Therefore, I may conclude that despite having this trait since being a child, it is certainly always in continuous learning.
As a conclusion, I think I can say that although many traits are innate in the personality of a person from birth, they evolve and develop, being possible to learn a trait that was practically non-existent through experiences throughout life.
