On the fatal day of a bright fine morning while she was on her way to school, Taliban sniper’s gun’s target scope fetched, the young Malala. The ruthless gunman shot her thrice and within moments of time she dropped down taking the heavy shots from the gun. But never did she feared nor she cried in fright, she encountered it bravely. She was immediately rushed to the hospital and were given immediate medical attention. Finally she recovered health from that brutal incident after many months of battle. In the meanwhile a revolutionary changed took place in the whole state of Pakistan, where the government took stern steps to put an end to the Barbaric and ruthless rule of the Taliban parallel government and abolishing its entire army of men.
As a young woman, the two leadership qualities of hers that I admire the most is: her honesty and her self confidence. Because of her sincere and courageous dedication towards her goal, she has attained such accolades and appreciation. In the year of 2014, at the age of Seventeen, Ms Malala Yousafzai was the “Noble Peace Prize” for her continuous fight for the right off all children to seek education.
Followed, she was later conferred and awarded numerous other prestigious state honors, titles and awards such as: Sakharov Prize by European Parliament, Simone De Beauvoir Prize by France, Honorary Canadian Citizenship, National Youth Peace Prize and many more.
On her 18th birthday, she opened a school for the “Syrian Refugees in Lebanon.” The school was opened for all those children who needed education and were denied in the past due to certain circumstance beyond their reach and control.
In her Blog, there was an inspiring quote I would like to re iterate: “Traditions are not sent from heaven, they are not even sent from God. It is we who make the cultures and we have the right to change it and we should change it.”
