priority. Being a controversial issue, it might have a different attitude.
Moving on, some people think that humanity has no right to take away life because of human life is sacred and inviolable. Under no circumstances, people should not take the initiative to end life. Based on this reason, that is why people explain that euthanasia should be illegal. First, one significant reason associated with euthanasia is patient suffering at end-of-life. In “Euthanasia and Assisted Suicide”, Rita L. Marker and Kathi Hamlon (2013) say that setting up laws could protect euthanasia may be abused by doctors said from people who against euthanasia. In other words, individuals who are against euthanasia are not confident about laws of euthanasia. It may make people have illegal activities with doctors. Second, Kastenbaum (2002) says that he thinks some people they do not know about euthanasia, so it could make people make the wrong decision for the wrong reasons. For example, when people get a terrible disease, they might feel painful more than they can endure. At this point, if they get some information about euthanasia, they might choose this way to end their life. In this case, we could guess, the patient could not make rational judgments; however, as medical workers should devote every effort to patient care, rather than to help patients end their lives. Over time, the application of euthanasia might cause to patients to medical workers' distrust. However, euthanasia law will bring great impact on society; it will likely be a lot of legal problems and disputes. It could make the code more

complicated, and people think this is not the original idea of euthanasia.
However, religion is another reason of euthanasia should be illegal. According to the America’s Changing Religious Landscape (u.d.) writes that Christianity is the largest religion in the US (“PewResearchCenter,” 2015). We also can see that from this article, Christians accounted for 70 .6 percent of all US religious proportions in 2004. In “What does the Bible say about Euthanasia,” Matt Slick (u. d.) writes that Bible does not explain euthanasia, but it explains that the dead. In Heb. 9:27 writes that “And since it is appointed for men to die once and after this comes judgment (p2).” In other words, if people are a Christian, and they follow the Bible, then, they would know that life belongs to God. God would tell their people the day that we die. From this point, we know that euthanasia is contrary to God's will. On the other hand, in Taiwan, which is my country, Buddhism is the biggest religion according to Wikipedia (“Buddhism in Taiwan,”n.d.).
According to Buddhism and Euthanasia (u.d.) says that this also applies to a monk who incites others to self-destruction, and who speaks to them in praise of death, with such words as "O man, what is the use to you of this miserable life? It is better for you to die than to be alive.
In other words, Buddhists oppose assisted suicide and euthanasia. Buddhism teaches that it is morally wrong to destroy human life. Also, Buddhists are taught to have a great

respect for life, even if that life is not living in optimal physical and mental health. The same religion may have different views because of the culture difference.
Cultural differences could be another reason of euthanasia should be illegal.
We notice that none of the Asian countries legalized euthanasia. In Taiwan, euthanasia is illegal. Even though some people and organization want to do something on it, but it is terrible to Taiwanese culture. Taiwan, which is a country, focus family and ethics. In particular, most of the families are three generations living under one roof. We have a saying “raise children to provide against old age.” In other words, most people think that after getting old, their kids will take care of them as they treat their children as. For this reason, the equivalent of euthanasia is an unfilially behavior. Also, there are some disadvantages about legalization euthanasia
According to the ProCon organization (2013) writes that there are many cons about euthanasia. First, many psychiatrists believe that euthanasia can be misused. They think that physical pain does not have robust enough to choose euthanasia. Also, euthanasia may become legitimate abuse if the patient does not have the will to live. Second, people might lose opportunity when they choose euthanasia. For example, people got a terrible disease; it could not have any solution right now. However, there is always a chance of medical miracle which is not being accounted for when people choose euthanasia. Also, a person may get

better, and choose euthanasia means patient reject any possibility. For above reasons, I agree that euthanasia should be legal in the US
In my opinion, I support that euthanasia should be legal in the US. I know that life is priceless, but life should base on the physical condition of the entire real situation. In my experienced, my grandmother had diabetes for almost 20 years. In the last five years of her life, her physical condition deteriorated. Finally, multiple organ failures led to death. Also, in my family, my aunt who is a nurse, in the last year of my grandmother's life, my aunt said that in fact, my grandmother does not have the consciousness. Her life had become entirely dependent on the hospital's life support. Before, every time I went to the hospital to see my grandmother, my mind was always all sorts of sadness.
However, in Taiwan, we cannot advance to end her suffering, because euthanasia is illegal in Taiwan. At the same time, I believe that euthanasia is responsible for me, responsibility to the family, socially responsible. For me, euthanasia is sensible, not immoral.
Euthanasia can relieve the patient's pain and misfortune. Kastenbaum (2002) writes that euthanasia reduces your painful and makes you have a real death, which is dying in a better way. In fact, euthanasia is in line with the humanitarian spirit of the modern point of view. Furthermore, I have to agree with euthanasia legalization because it needs to be protected by law. It needs to develop appropriate legal procedures, and in the legal premise. Finally, in
