Roseberry Community Consortium is a charity group which focuses on helping the disadvantaged children. The group improves their social opportunities and helps those struggling with academics and poverty.

Basically, there are many ways we may help the children suffering these disorders which leads to problems in learning how to read. Foremost, programs should be developed in hospitals, and all health centres to lower prenatal, perinatal and the postnatal risk from mothers to the children.

Also, we should consult an occupational therapist, then evaluate the way the child manages functions at home and school so that we can get the most appropriate way we can help them, and get their weaknesses. Then after doing so, we should help them with tasks they are not good in. Examples are that if one has a problem in getting dressed or doing the cleaning, then perfect assistance of dressing is required. A treatment plan should also be implemented to assess the child's speech, then the speech-language pathologist uses the plan to help them be more effective in communication. To improve child's language, auditory and movement skills, they should be assisted in setting series of tasks that they are to do daily to help them advance gradually. This challenge should aim at child's improvement and so should not be stressful or frustrating. Encouraging and helping the disordered to participate in social activities is also a great help to them. More of them do not like playing with others and prefer staying alone most of the times.

On the side of the classroom, a special attention is required. Children with bad eyesight should be helped and also should occupy the first seats, near the tutor. Tutors should also help them improve their social and academic nature. Tutors should help them engage with other students, and participate in group activities. Currently, education classrooms are adapting to the individuality of children with learning difficulties. Some have gone to extent of remoulding classes and even changing how classes operate.
