stated that the promotional materials for certain products was intended for treating children

with ADHD. The implied claims about the effect on ADHD “outcomes” that was not supported

by the “substantial evidence”. The DDMAC of promotional materials are making implies on

ADHD outcomes claims that must be supported by the substantial evidence that raises policy

and legal questions that’s needs to be consideration.

According to DDMAC they construed a promotional sale and intended for use in the

physicians making claims that the product would correct the negative outcomes associated

with ADHD. According to 7.02 Descriptions of Education and Training ProgramsPsychologists responsible for education and training programs take reasonable steps to ensure

that there is a current and accurate description of the program content (including participation in

required course- or program-related counseling, psychotherapy, experiential groups, consulting

projects or community service), training goals and objectives, stipends and benefits and

requirements that must be met for satisfactory completion of the program. This information must

be made readily available to all interested parties (Ethics Codes, 2010).
