from the book, because I know everyone is different have different ways to cope with the uncertainties of life, religion just isn’t something for me. The way the way that affects my ethical framework is that it lets me have an open mind. I like to listen to other opinions even if I highly disagree but its also good to get different perspective on things. Before I comment on anything, I like to think to myself how it will if I was in their position because everyone is fighting a battle inside them, so I would have no idea what its like, so I try not to judge them or respond unethically.

My ideologies have lots of similarities to what is stated in the textbook, such as the Kohlberg’s theory. The theory basically states that some people consider unethical things in order to gain from it or prevent them from getting into trouble. I know there have been instances where I have acted unethically in order to prevent something worse from happening. Those instances are rare but it does happen sometimes. Morals are the principles by which we live our lives. Too often, we fail to examine them, placing trust in the idea that the morals we follow are sound. The assumption is a dangerous one which may lead us away from the path of righteousness when we encounter something immoral. Our morals may be faulty, betraying us into taking unethical action. On the other side, having a good ethical code and morals is something that is always appreciated in a work setting and in life in general.
