Your beliefs about leading and motivating people

I have always believed that every single person has a hidden talent they probably don’t know because they never had an opportunity to utilize it due to wrong profession or lack of opportunities. Success or inner peace stems from leveraging your strengths to the optimum potential. A person who is failing in any task shouldn’t be criticized but rather be given a few opportunities in the form of trainings or some time to hone his skills. If he continues to fail, then probably he should think about switching jobs or doing a task that can utilize his talent/potential. Motivating people to discover their hidden talent will make them more productive, which eventually helps in maintaining positive ambience at workplace and grow an organization with happier employees.

What you can expect from me?

I am a good listener and take pains to ensure that my team members are highly motivated so that the assigned task in completed within the stipulated time-frame. This trait allows me to maintain a good rapport with my colleagues and also helps me deal effectively with difficult situations. Furthermore, I believe that trust and acceptance are the key ingredients requisite for a team to function effectively, Integrity is my key trait and you can easily spot it on my face if I am trying to lie about something. I will always strive to maintain a positive ambience at workplace and connect with all my colleagues beyond the professional context. So, it is not always professional talk but also some casual talk involved

What I expect from you?

I expect that you will help me help you for which you will have to be ready to accept honest feedback or criticism and work on that. Also, it would be really helpful if you can share your feedback on my actions. You should understand and apply ethical principles to problems and issues that you confront in your daily life and use self-evaluation to set goals for personal development. You should be able to interact effectively and let me know if I can be of any assistance in resolving any of your issues. Basically, you shouldn’t think twice before reaching out to me if there is anything I can help you with.

How I will set an example for you?

I am someone who values people over bottom-line and I mean it. Having a perfect balance between career and family is of paramount significance to me. I am always approachable and will show empathy for another person; be it any issue, please don’t hesitate to approach me with your concerns. I shall put in my best efforts to resolve issues or allay your concerns. I would treat everyone with kindness and respect even if they are rude to me. I shall treat people the way I would like to be treated. I will strive to maintain a positive environment at my workplace regardless of any pressure situation and ensure that people are happy and thereby produce best results.
