c. Google’s impact on student’s research

Schools and Colleges research projects are always a hassle for the students. But with the invention of Google, nowadays students want their information very quick without working or finding it deeply. Google makes it very for students to finish their research projects quickly. Google’s scholar helps students get qualified articles that they can use in their research. With a survey done in the journal Return of the Google Game, it talks about done the research t he right way on Google, it can be very efficient. Nowadays students are so impacted by Google because for everything even a simple assignment, they turn to Google for answers. (Watkins)With Google’s powerful search engine people do not go to libraries anymore, they go to Google. But with the impact of Google on the students, teachers are the schools remain concerned. Because it is also believed that Google might give numerous amounts of results but does not give the quality sources. ( Mann) Quality is what is needed in a research not quantity. Schools and teachers are concerned about students not knowing that all published information is not equally valuable. There is a lot importance of books in the libraries. Sources like the library are very important for researches. Google might be easy but cannot be reliable for the research. Students need to use databases for assignments or projects like that at school because they are much more reliable.

Google has also made many efforts for students to engage using Google like by offering business level apps for students. They also go to high schools for workshops that help student understand Google better. They show students how Google Sketchup, Google’s Scholar and Google’s App Inventor are all useful so students can use them for when they get an actual job. They have made a lot of progress with young students. Google is making their way up and is doing great. (Miller)
