Vaccines: Risk Vs. Benefit

One can only hope that more people lean towards the facts and continue vaccinating children. The idea that it is only a family matter if children are vaccinated is actually really selfish. Not only are these families putting their loved ones at risk, but it is also a risk for any children who they encounter who have not or cannot be vaccinated. I believe people fail to remember the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and CDC take every precautionary measure. They are not playing Russian-Roulette by making these vaccines mandatory. The statistics are that out of 20 children immunized, 1 or possibly 2 will still fall ill. If the anti-vaccine campaigners influence too many more, healthcare officials will see a prevalent outbreak in diseases we’ve kept under wraps for years. At that point, it’ll just be too late and the whole population will be facing loss.
