Strategic HR Plan
The HR department strategy will be to connect the HR department with the company’s goals and to hire more staff into the company. During the course of the plan, weekly updates will occur to establish if any development or realignment of resources needs to be implemented.
The HR department has little resources and examines every action to ascertain the HR department is functioning as effective as possible. The HR may ask the help of the senior management to know what the company needs are and what is the most effective means aside from hiring new employees. It is important the senior management of the company and HR work in a collaborative manner. Nevertheless, the HR department examines the hiring and staffing process to acquire 50 new employees.
Recruitment and Selection Methods
To attain the most effective hiring process, the company must implement these five steps: (1) Portraying the best applicant, (2) Producing a list of potential employees, (3) Screening the applicants, (4) Interviewing the applicants and verify all references comprising work, personal, and studies, (5) Decide on the qualified applicant or candidate. To implement any hiring process the HR department establishes a budget in order to promote, screen, test and interview the applicants. Once the qualified applicants are hired, the HR department offers the job and its salary and rewards. To hire the best employee is to make a plan and the company should recognize business stages and be inclined to search “talent pipelines”. By implementing this procedure, the company will have a vast amount of skills and the company will be ready for any challenges. Diversity can create challenges but the contributions of a diverse workforce can be very important and rewarding for the business. With the plan and its hiring, the HR department is likely to provide the company a higher performance level. Hiring new employees can always be challenging because of continuous company development; nevertheless, it is the opportunity for HR to strategize and link its functions to development of the company.
Conclusion
The HR department has a challenging task and a large amount of work to finish. With the plan and its hiring, the company is ensured that sufficient numbers of properly trained staff are available at all times to carry out the business’ operations efficiently and sufficiently.
When the HR plan is aligned with the company vision and mission, it is more apt to be successful in showing the strength of the department and assisting the company in being a competitor in its market.
