Disadvantages are if employers do not supply employees’ performance tools. How are the employees going to know the type of job is being performed? Employee’s can go around thinking the job being performed is accurate. Or the job is truly costing the employer. These are things employees need to know for improvement. Many managers do not say anything until too late for the employee to correct the mistakes.
With the employee performance tool, DaVita is letting the workers know what is expected from their employees’. The employees’ receive a copy of the evaluation when completed. This is known as The DaVita’s Way. Completing jobs, the DaVita Way not only helps the team mates but the company succeeds (Berg, 2004-2008).
Effectiveness in improving Employee Performance
In an effective organization, goals are set and work is planned routinely. Many employers pt out formal and informal rewards to help recognize the behavior and results that accomplish the Mission of the organization. An effective organization can get the employees’ involved in planning for improvement. Progresses toward those goals are measured and employees get feedback. High Standards are set for each employee to follow (Hager, 2006).
DaVita has a Mission Statement for the workers meet the standards. The name DaVita is Italian which means “he/she gives life”. Living up to the name should be effectiveness for improvement with the teammates (Berg, 2004-2008).
Provide Suggestions for Improvement
DaVita expects all employees to lead by example in words of actions and behaviors. What about upper management? Nothing states the Facility Administrator should set back and watch. How can he or she review the team mates without working side by side? The performance review is good for the team mates. It lets the team mates know what is expected and if the job is being performed to the full expectation. Other items for improvement are, to look at the employees past goals. Review the objects with the team mate on a monthly basis. The Facility Administrator can discuss the company’s direction which includes the team mates responsible. Setting goals and feedback are others improvements which can be performed. Allow the employee to voice their opinion about the concerns of the company. After all is done, a follow-up should be summarized and document goals for the next month or year.
Conclusion
Being a Facility Administrator for any organization is hard. The Administrator must know the in’s and out’s of the company. They must be able to handle every obstacle including the team mates. The Administrator must be able to review the team mate proper and be able to discuss what they are completing wrong. DaVita has a good policy on the clinical outcomes for the organization. The quality of care must meet and exceed the guidelines. DaVita expects the quality of care out of the team mates and the Facility Administrators. DaVita provides services to many patients in different community. The centers must make sure the team mates can live up to the daily challenges. The values put in the performance review must be followed and DaVita’s employees must be trustworthy and accountable.
