The data on the above table indicates that 95% of the respondents believe that the training they have received have had a positive impact on their performance. This is to be expected and it’s highly unlikely that a respondent will believe training has impacted his performance negatively.

As we can see from the above table 27%, 9of the 33, respondents replied role playing, 7 said management game method while the majority replied coaching methods, with none of the respondents choosing case study method.

The high number of respondents who selected coaching method suggest that theoretical concept of using coaching method to develop managers by placing the trainee under a close guidance and supervision of the trainer to increase range of management task and share trainees experiences. This shows that Dashen is primarily using coaching method to develop management skills.

The data on table 11 item no 16 depicts that significant number of employees, 16 out of 33, don’t know which method is used by the training department for assessing training needs while the rest is split evenly between task analysis and training need analysis.

This data goes well with the respondents reply on item 10 where the participants said Dashen’ training policy isn’t open the employees; this could be the cause of many of them not knowing. Furthermore we believe that need analysis is an important method and that Dashen should put more focus on it to prepare future trainings.
