Later on as my restaurant receives more customers and becomes more popular I’ll be changing things around, therefore the customer won’t get bored and would see new things happening at my restaurant.

The only problem with this business would be whether or not it’ll be worth all the expenses to start up the business. I know how it would look and who are my first employees. The only thing is that if my restaurant doesn’t work out then I lost my investment money. After that everything would go as I explained. Therefore the table that follows would show the expenses I’ll be making monthly and the expenses I’ll be making when I first start up the business.

The table above shows that total amount of expenses I’ll be making when I first open my restaurant. I decided to check how much the restaurant furniture would be and on www.webstaurantstore.com I saw that when ordering more than 3 booths the amount you pay would be $195 each and as I kept searching the more furniture you order the less amount of money you pay for each. I also searched the website for the restaurant equipment, for example kitchen, and its the same. The more you buy the less you pay for each. Since I also said I’ll be having a bar, I need the liquor license and as I researched you pay less for just beer license but then customers might want win and therefore it’s better if I just get the license for both beer and wine. For the decorations as shown on the table I would only be wasting $1,200 because I would like to bring the decorations from Peru, since it would make the customers feel more at home. Since thats the meaning of the name. When I say the customers would feel more at home, I mean that the environment would be one that looks like a cultural restaurant in Peru which would make the environment of my restaurant more comfortable, calm and liked.

The table above shows the amount of money I’ll be wasting monthly. The only things that might change would be the employee wages, because as my business keeps growing I’ll be paying my employees a better payment based on the position they’re in. Since I would have 12 employees I decided to have 1 in the entertainment section and the other one as the receptionist, while 5 would be in the kitchen and the other 4 would be waitress, and the last employee would be in charge of the bar and the cash register. As my business keeps getting better I’ll hire more employees so my other employees can also have days off. Another thing that my change would be the weekly supply because as business keeps growing customers would demand more of one thing and that means I’ll need to buy more supplies.

I decided that for the lunch hours I would have a deal of $10 for a plate of food, which would come with soup and something to drink. The cost of the other plates would be based on how much I wasted to buy the supplies to make the dish. I also decided that for a beer the price would be $2.50, free water and there would be a free refill for fountain drinks. I would also be selling a cultural drink that’s called chicha morada, a jar would be $5.00 which would be enough for a family of 4.

Closing Statement:

My business will be successful because it will make people feel at home. I will be providing good services and make the environment be a family related one to make people feel more welcome. The decorations would also help people feel more welcome. I would try to do my best to make my customers and staff have a friendly relationship so there won’t be any problems in my restaurant. I would do this by asking my customers to tell me how they were treated by the witness that way I would know which employees to keep and which ones to let go. Even though it would be expensive to open it would be a great challenge to keep the business going and make more people come. By making my restaurant a Peruvian restaurant, I would be targeting the people that are Peruvian and the ones that like to try new things more. Since there’s a high command of Peruvian food here in New York.
