In order to schedule and coordinate daily jobs of the service and installation team, technicians, service support & office administrators will be using Field Service Management solution – AceRoute. This software provides features, such as route and schedule optimizer, mobile job creation, one-click navigation, one-click customer call, etc. This solution aims to improve customer relationship and overall service. Company intends to maximize technician utilization by optimizing call routing that can be accessed from a mobile device.
Technology Infrastructure and Software Requirements
Technology infrastructure enables the connection of end-point devices (PC, smart phones etc.) with business applications residing on servers. This infrastructure of the company will consist of:
- Multiple End-Point Networking Devices (EDP) – Personal computers, laptops, tablets/smartphones and printers, CISCO telephony system (VoIP). PCs and laptops will be equipped with MS Windows, MS Office, AceRoute and Photoshop where necessary. Tablets and smartphones will be equipped with AceRoute software.
- Local Area Networks (LAN) - Routers, Switches, Firewalls
- Wide Area Network (WAN) – a contract with the local ISP for Internet and telephony.
- Cloud Services – Microsoft Azure. Air Wise will use virtual machines for the following purposes:
Website
Using Microsoft IIS as web server and WordPress as Content Management System.
Emails
Microsoft Exchange as calendaring software, a mail server and contact manager.
Applications
SAP Business One for Accounting & CRM for Sales and Support
AceRoute for organizing support and routes
SQL
MS SQL Database for reports and connection to the website, storing and managing business data.
Besides the above listed options, MS Azure will also provide the security and data protection.
