I think most of the processes in the question 1 were affected by the severe weather but the services concerning the time punctuation were affected worse than the others, for example: landing slot allocation, and some post-landing services at the airport. On the other hand, some services are related to each other, therefore, producing a chain of bad results. But there were still some processes that are mostly not affected at all such as shopping stores, restaurants and bars inside the airport. And more, the weather definitely affected the traffic both air traffic and traffic on land. So not only the scheduling of the flights and landing slot allocations but also the public transportation services were also affected badly. The de-icing service seemed busier than usual and took more people and more time to do so I think the de-icing process was also affected badly.

- How many different organizations are involved in delivering the goods and services described in this report? What are the implications of this?

Some processes are involved and controlled by only one organization but most of the processes are involved in more than one organizations. For example, the checking-in process needs to be done by the airline company and the airport manager. The restaurant service at the airport was involved with airport and the owner of the restaurant.

Hence, the obvious thing we draw from this is that the co-operation of many organizations in a single process. And the airport does not work as a stand-alone but they also work and co-operate with many other company and organizations. Therefore, if there was something bad happed, then it would lead to a chain of many bad outcomes. The co-operation sometimes leads to easier and more efficient results but sometimes has the side-effect.
