From the correlation analysis, it is revealed that there is a significant relationship between BPR and organizational performance of the bank under study. It is further revealed from the analysis that business process management is still in the embryonic stage as the mean values lie below the expected values of 5 on a 5-point Likert scale.
Point of view of the critic
Regarding the format:
Each main section of the paper begins with a heading; they are capitalized at the beginning of the section, which is good.
The headings should be double spaced from the lines above and below, but in the article are not.
Some heading are missing such as the introduction and the abstract heading.
The title: is centered at the top of page; it is not underlined or italicized. That means it follows the typical format of titles.
The Authors' names: are mentioned below the title, this is a good order, but the writer did not follow the typical format, he presented information about the authors in the first page, which is good no waste.
Keywords: no key word.
Literature review: no clear title for literature review.
- The use of footnotes is very helpful to understand some abbreviations cited in the articles.
Theoretical:
Theory part was easy to understand.
- The literature review : summarizes the approach of the authors about BPR, BPR back ground, and evidence from other literature, and a definition of the concept of BPR. Also it provides the importance of this study for banking sector.
Some negative points:
- The definition of "BPR“, is missing even though they are the keywords of the article.
Methodology
- Use of some test types without explaining how they are applied, such as:
Use of variables and parameters without explaining how they work, like mean,
- standard deviation, correlation, etc., and formula is missing
Note: They could add an appendix to give some explanations and examples
Regarding the content:
I agree with the authors' point of view and based on their assumptions, argumentations, analysis and results.
- It is addressed to particular readers, because it contains specific scientific and statistical concepts that are difficult to be understood by all readers
