To solve the problems faced by UCAMart management, a system designed and applied in UCAMart inventory management for ease of management to analyse and check the stock in and out every day. A significant problem is the management still use the old system with just records each stock as well as profit every day in the log book. Even the logbook provided over 3 books because the management will differentiate stocks by identity and the services provided. This system was introduced; it covers all the stock on display in UCAMart according to a predetermined identity code. It makes it easier for management to update, delete, edit and restocking will happen every day. In addition, the inventory system will also identify the products that have been sold and are still there and can identify the expiration date of all stock.

In addition, the inventory systems UCAMart also use Adobe Dreamweaver Software to assist in the development of this system. Adobe Dreamweaver is a software program for designing web pages, essentially a more fully featured web HTML and programming editor. The program provides a what-you-see-is-what-you-get (WYSIWYG) interface for users to create and edit web pages in a more user-friendly environment. Dreamweaver supports multiple web and programming languages including HTML, C #, Visual Basic (VB), Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), Active Server Pages (ASP), Extensible Markup Language (XML) and others.

1.7 Significant of the project

System conducted a major impact on every management in UCAMart even relationship between producers, suppliers and customers. This is because; in order to maintain customer loyalty and honesty provider itself to UCAMart is committed to quality management and product quality. Among the advantages of using this system is easier inventory tracking down the purchases, expenses and inventory records also support for inventory management that helps record and track materials on the basis of both quality and value. Other than that, can optimize the security and validity of the number of sales, purchases, supplies, expenses every month or a day. It also reduces the time to access data and information in the log book. From there, all data or information that currently stored in the drawers or rocks will be transferred to the database system that will be saved in the computer safety.

1.8 Summary

In chapter one is the background of the real problem, purpose, objectives and interests of the system for managing inventory UCAMart in and out every day. Based on the problems identified, the goals and objectives of this system has been constructed as a guide for solving problems that arise subsequent system and its importance for the success of the organization in order to allow all adopted after the system is launched.

CHAPTER 2

LITERATURE REVIEW

2.1 Introduction

In chapter 2, will be explained more thoroughly about inventory management system at UCAMart with supported and argued from prior studies. It can give a very clear explanation in implementing the system to be developed. The first part will explain the meaning of the inventory or stock that is in UCAMart such as vegetables from the farm as well as products from small and medium industries around UCAMart. While the second part will describe how inventory management is carried out and implemented in UCAMart. Next, an inventory control system that will study how to control inventory more organized and structured. The last part of the dismantling of the introduction of internet use in developing a system such as the World Wide Web (WWW), Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP), Hypertext Markup Language (HTML), oracle and Dreamweaver.

2.2 Introduction of system Inventory

Inventories are important in the functional organizations but also manufacturing and retail inventories can be interpreted easily controlled and managed properly calculated. It is not easy to control and maintain the existing inventory but it requires knowledge and skills in ensuring that every incoming and outgoing inventory can be managed well even though they have different inventory.

From the examples given, clearly manifest by using a well system technology, it is a very positive impact on an organization, especially in UCAMart.

UCAMart is one platform for all entrepreneurs and manufacturers who want to sell noble generated or crops from the farm to generate income. Although UCAMartstill new foothold in the field of business but it can open the eyes and minds of the people to continue to generate revenue from a variety of sources. With the economy still unstable country that it gives a new light to those who are interested but it gives an opportunity to the villagers and even the students themselves to venture into various fields in the future.
