Challenges for Recommended Job Position

There are many challenges for any new hire for any job. Since this job is for administrative work, he/she is required to understand the business and workflow as soon as possible that he/she could know how to documenting, filing papers and who should be reached for a given issue. The possible challenges could be categorized as communication challenges, company system challenge, and teamwork challenge. Communication challenges rise that this officer should understand how to communicate effectively between different levels of employees. The company structure and system challenge may come from that this new hire has to manage the account payable of the company that he/her should be able to understand the company system. The teamwork challenge could be that as the new hire perform as an administrator that it takes time for he/she to get used to the company and work brief without sufficient teamwork.

Summary and Conclusions

In conclusion, as an assistant manager in the marketing department, I identified the team’s need for an administrator officer to manage the administrative work such as communicating between campaign managers or client relationship management. The required competencies included administration skills, communication skills, and certain level of education background. Other than that, this new person should be able to fit in the company’s culture as well. Although there may be many challenges for this future officer, the company could also provide appealing compensation and incentives to motive him/her to work better. I believe this new hire would help to improve the whole team’s performance as most responsibilities of this job are to facilitate the teamwork, internal and external communication to deliver better performance.
