Discussion and Conclusion
Based on the graph above it shows that when 600g weight is tied to the experiment model it took shorter time than 400g for the water the to fill up 600ml as from the graph, you can see that the 400g bottle is not enough force as the 600g bottle as the water flows faster when the 600g bottle is used. This can be seen in the graph which falls under Average it shows a lesser time taken than the 400g bottle. Due to this simple experiment, it is difficult to find out a clue for the dependent variable that resemble with the independent variable. During our observation to test the water flow using three different amount of weight 200g, 400g, 600g are tested to find the results pattern, but the 200g weight doesn’t work that well because it is too light to even make the water flow out of the water station. However, my group mate and I manage to find out some differences between 400g and 600g their time difference is 3 seconds. This is very important to point where we must understand that the weights act as a force, which is pulled down by the gravity, allowing the water to flow out. This observation proves that our hypothesis was correct because in conclusion, the weight of the bottle does affect the speed of the water flow, if it isi heavy in weight it flows faster. if it is lighter in weight it flow slower. If it is too light 400g below it will not flow. Since it also relates to force it is also connected to the Newton’s law in Gravity Theory.
During the progress of setting up the experiment, My group mates and I were facing a lot of problems like we got the wrong materials, we install wrong materials to the setup, we wet the surrounding we are working at due to licking and many moreal problems but from these problems they made us understand that we don’t have to be over serious we can also have fun when we made mistakes. In the end our set up is completely different from the link we access on due to different country because some materials we might have but they don’t have but some we might not have it but they have it. Our experiment is different in terms of look and function. Loot: they uses bottle of sand to support the set up but we uses bottle of water to power the water station. Function: they uses their feet to power the water station but we uses weight of the bottle of water to power the water station.
In conclusion, we can say that our hypothesis (If the higher the force on the string, then the more the water from the tank will flow because of the force of the weight will pull the stick down via the string, allowing the water to flow out.) created for this experiment is quite accurate because the weight pull the stick danown and made the water station powered and when it succeed my group mates and I were shouting because our experiment worked.
