Because of a large group of cold air from Siberia spills south into East Asia. The temperatures of these days are very low and lower than the average temperature all the year round. We are now under the influence of Siberia cold air from southward. And the different between day and night is not as much as it’s in desert. Due to the different materials we use to build our city, the temperature doesn’t change so much. But the desert is different, what it has most is sand. So the temperature there can be very high in the morning and always under zero during the evening.

Phenomenon:

I use some balloons to rub my hair in the dark. I try as hard and fast as I can, but still just see a little electric spark.

After that, I dropped some scraps of paper. Some of them are big and the others are small. But it only attracts the light and small scraps.

Reason:

Friction with the method of electrically charged objects is called friction electrification.

It is well known that charged objects have property of attracting little light objects .So after I rubbed it, it could attract some light scraps of paper.
