Lack of Islamic Knowledge

The main reason is lack of knowledge of Islam that why the Muslims are in a miserable condition and are not able to do anything to make the world a better place. The knowledge of Islam have been marginalized in the circle of scholars only and ordinary Muslims either do not pursue the knowledge or they are not allowed to do. The result of this control of knowledge and the lack of availability of knowledge, the Muslims don’t know about their religion matters and disputes among them and that what their religion states on the reconstruction of their lives and its teachings to overcome the disputes. Thus, all violence, subjugation and oppression of women is Islam is just the wrong projection and misinterpretation of Islam due to lack of real and actual teachings of Islam.

Lack of Unity

Muslims were ruling half of the world and could feel for each other as a one nation not letting the color and cultures between their brotherhood and faithfulness. The main reason for the decline of Muslims is that they have forgotten the true preaching of Islam and began to differentiate between each other on the basis of color and culture. The difference this time is the lack of that unity, the Muslims are not feeling for each other and are divided for the sake of worldly affairs. The final result was a schism among Muslims do not consider the other Muslims as his brother and the part of one nation that is Ummah.

REMEDIES FOR DECLINE

Reestablishment of the Central Authority

The loss of the central authority of the caliph is the result of the fragmentation of Muslims as argued above. We must make a sincere effort to re-establish the caliphate. It should be in accordance with Islamic principles. Otherwise, it will be a failure. It is a difficult task to achieve, but not impossible and can be done through peaceful dialogue, diplomatic approach, disciplined processes and tolerance.

Create Unity

Open up the Holy Quran, to understand the final revelation, and spread it to the people and win their hearts and minds to the truth of the Quranic system. People must be active at the stage of madness. Union can be created only through the message of Quran. If someone descends below the level of the Holy Quran where the ideas come into play, the gap widens. No point in discussing the past, look forward, towards the ultimate goal. The past is the past, can’t be reversed. In the past, people depending on their circumstances have made their decisions and we have to make decisions based on our situation, and ask for the alliance. As our similarities, rather than set their differences.

Education

The current education system is given to us by the secular education system, it is the orientation of the capitalist mentality. Islam teaches us to meet the needs of others first, but this system emphasize in ”yourself”. This system is just to implant the western culture and values using eastern ways. It should be replaced by an Islamic system education.
