When the cold harsh winter came the tree stood bare, naked, and sad. It suddenly became apparent that my favorite tree has been stripped of its beauty and baring nothing but nakedness. As I watched my apple tree lose its luster, it still never failed to remind me of the joyful memories. The whiteness of the Icey snow that gathered around the tree made me see a new kind of beauty that I have never seen before. Although I cannot go outdoors to witness the new tree face to face I can’t help but admire the apple trees new appearance. My Brother would always tell me that the apple tree has not changed at all, but I always felt as though the tree was became prettier as time went by.

As spring rolled around, the vibrant green leaves began filling the old apple tree up, reassuring me that the apple tree was ready to bring new delightful memories. The tree was ready for my companionship once again as it always has. I went outside with my Mom and Dad to embrace the new season. You could see the small apples that were not ripe enough to pick, but looked as succulent and fresh to eat. I put my hand the bark of the tall apple tree to notice the new shade of brown on the trunk. The entire tree seemed different. I looked onto my hands to notice the same sticky substance as before. I never knew what the sticky paste was that occupied my hand that day, but it was safe to say that my memories of the apple tree were as bright as ever.
